1. Apparatus for producing cigarette packs (20), said packs (20), having glued joints, passing through a drying turret (23) over a relatively long period of time. 2.1 In order to transfer the packs (20) from a preceding turret, in particular a transfer turret (22), to the drying turret (23), pockets (25, 26) of the two turrets are especially designed such that the pocket walls (30, 31, 32, 33) can be moved past one another and thereby transfer the packs (20), without radial displacement, from one pocket (25) to the other pocket (26). 2.2 The packs (20) transferred from the drying turret (23) pass into elongate receiving means, that is to say pack shafts (62), in which the packs (20), during revolution, are gradually displaced and out of which they finally emerge via an outlet opening (66) and are transferred to a removal conveyor (24).
