Abstract An apparatus for producing packs from at least one foldable blank, especially soft-cup cigarette packs, is provided in which, in a transfer station, individual blanks can be fed by means of a feed unit with a blank-holder to a receptacle, such as a hollow mandrel, of a folding turret and can he transported by this in order to make folds. Each blank, for taking up by the receptacle or hollow mandrel of the folding turret is held so as to project freely on one side by the blank-holder, in the form of a holding disc fixed in place and arranged outside the path of movement of the receptacles, thereby increasing production capacity.
