Abstract of the Disclosure Disclosed is apparatus for producing groups of joined fasteners made of plastics, each of fasteners being composed of a head section, a bar section and a string section connecting the head and the bar sections at one and the other ends thereof. The apparatus comprises feeding means for feeding a continuous molded plastic rod having substantially the same cross-sectional shape as the vertical sectional shape of said fasteners along the longitudinal direction of the rod and slitting means for slitting said continuous molded plastic rod in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction thereof at predetermined intervals in a manner such that a part of the cross-section of the bar section is not cut in the continuous molded plastic rod.
