An apparatus for producing key blanks, characterised by comprising: at least one clamp (14) for clamping a possibly pre-machined key stamping (16) in which the grooves corresponding to the profile to be obtained are to be formed in sequence, at least one milling cutter (36, 36', 36") of shape compatible with the profile of the key to be obtained, means (5, 12, 28) for moving said clamp (14) relative to said milling cutter (36, 36', 36") at least in the three perpendicular directions related to the shank of said key stamping (16), a memory containing stored data relative to the parameters of the different types of key profiles, a unit (38, 40) for acquiring data corresponding to the values of said parameters and for memorizing them in said memory, a unit for controlling said movement means (5, 12, 28) on the basis of the previously acquired values of said parameters.

L'invention concerne un appareil destiné à la fabrication de clefs brutes, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend: au moins une bride de fixation (14) afin de fixer un estampeur à clef, si possible, pré-usiné (16) dans lequel les rainures correspondantes au profil à obtenir doivent être formées en séquence, au moins un outil de découpage (36, 36', 36'') d'une forme compatible avec la clef à créer, des moyens (5, 12, 28) destinés à déplacer lesdites brides de fixation (14) par rapport à l'outil de découpage (36, 36', 36'') au moins dans les trois direction perpendiculaires à la tige dudit estampeur à clef (16), une mémoire contenant les données stockées concernant les paramètres des différents types de profils de clefs, une unité (38, 40) destinée à acquérir les données correspondant aux valeurs desdits paramètres et permettant de les mémoriser dans la mémoire, une unité commande des mouvement des moyens (5, 12, 28) basée sur les valeurs précédemment acquises des paramètres.
