The present invention relates to equipment for producing a hypoxia gas mixture and for use during hypoxia training at regular intervals. The present invention may be used in the field of practical medicine during a therapy involving gas mixtures with a low oxygen content. This invention essentially relates to an apparatus for producing a gas mixture for hypoxia training at regular intervals, wherein said apparatus comprises the following elements serially connected: a compressor; a gas-distribution member made of hollow polymeric fibres of poly-4-methylpentens-1; a duct with a flow-meter; a moisturising unit; a patient mask with a breathing valve; a system for automatically controlling the operation mode parameters, wherein said system comprises a patient-condition monitoring device with an oxygen indicator and a spirometer; and a drying unit mounted before the gas-distribution member. This drying unit is made in the shape of two truncated cones which are connected together at their larger bases on a single support rod, wherein said rod comprises in its central part a disc having a diameter 4 to 6 times larger than that of said rod. Hollow fibres made of mixtures of poly-4-methylpentens-1 with different melt index are wound on the last cone.
La présente invention a trait à de l'équipement pour produire un mélange gazeux pour hypoxie et pour usage au cours de provocations hypoxiques à intervalles réguliers. La présente invention peut être utilisée dans le domaine de la médecine pratique au cours d'une thérapie faisant appel des mélanges gazeux ayant une faible teneur en oxygène. Cette invention porte essentiellement sur un appareil qui permet de produire un mélange gazeux pour usage au cours de provocations hypoxiques à intervalles réguliers, ledit appareil comportant les éléments suivants en série : un compresseur; un système de distribution du gaz fait de fibres polymères creuses de poly(4-méthylpent-1-ène); une canalisation dotée d'un débitmètre; un humidificateur, un masque pour le patient avec soupape de respiration; un système pour régler automatiquement les paramètres du mode de fonctionnement et un spiromètre; et une unité de séchage montée en amont du dispositif de distribution des gaz. Cette unité de séchage est en forme de deux cônes tronqués qui sont réunis à leur base la plus grande sur une seule tige de soutien, laquelle comporte dans sa partie centrale un disque ayant un diamètre de 4 à 6 fois plus grand que celui de la tige. Des fibres creuses faites de poly(4-méthylpent-1-ène) ayant des indices de fusion différents sont enroulées sur le dernier cône.
