We describe an apparatus for providing a red blood cell suitable for delivery of an agent to a vertebrate, the apparatus comprising: (a) a sensitisation means for sensitising a red blood cell to render it susceptible to disruption by an energy source; and (b) a loading means for loading the red blood cell with an agent, in which the loading means is separate from the sensitisation means and in fluid connection therewith.

L'invention concerne un appareil permettant de produire un globule rouge adapté à la diffusion d'un agent chez un être vertébré. Cet appareil comprend : (a) des moyens de sensibilisation afin de sensibiliser un globule rouge et de pouvoir le disloquer grâce à une source d'énergie; et (b) des moyens de charge permettant de placer un agent sur le globule rouge, ces moyens de charge étant isolés des moyens de sensibilisation et connectés avec eux par un fluide.
