An apparatus for removing ground anchors including a body having an anvil connected by at least one connecting member to a ground anchor retainer. A hammer is slidably movable along the at least one connecting member. The hammer is brought into violent contact with the anvil to exert a force upon a ground anchor detachably secured in the ground anchor retainer.
