An apparatus for treating waste incineration flyash, capable of far reducing the organic chlorine compounds contained in the flyash. This apparatus comprises a cylindrical body of the apparatus having a feeding port for waste incineration flyash and a discharging port for the resulting material spaced from each other in the axial direction of the body; a rotating shaft supported within the body and provided with a flyash-introducing part composed of screws, and an agitating part for the incineration ashes composed of stirring blades, the introducing part of the rotating shaft being arranged on the side of the feeding port, the agitating part being arranged on the side of the discharging port, and the pitch of the screws of the introducing part being successively reduced toward the agitating part; and a heating means capable of heating the waste incineration flyash to 300°C or higher provided at at least in the axial direction of the body.
