ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A multiple tape unit, such as a multiple tape cassette, is mounted on a single reel mount, having a capstan which is common to all of the tapes. A number of pinch rollers, equal to the number of tapes, are mounted on an equal number of support arms, and means are provided for selectively operating a required one of the pinch rollers to be urged against the capstan so as to establish a record/playback mode for the particular chosen one of the tapes.
