An apparatus for non-intrusively sensing fluid flow within a pipe includes a first sensing array for sensing acoustic signals travelling at the speed of sound through fluid flow within the pipe, a second sensing array for sensing local pressure variations travelling with the fluid flow, and a housing attached to the pipe for enclosing the sensing arrays. The first sensing array includes a plurality of first optical pressure sensors and the second sensing array includes a plurality of second optical pressure sensors.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif permettant d'effectuer des mesures non intrusives sur un flux de liquide à l'intérieur d'une conduite, ledit dispositif comprenant un premier réseau de détection servant à détecter des signaux acoustiques se propageant à la vitesse du son à travers le flux de liquide à l'intérieur de la conduite, un second réseau de détection servant à détecter les variations de pression locales se propageant avec le flux de liquide, et un boîtier fixé à la conduite et entourant les réseaux de détection. Le premier réseau de détection comprend une pluralité de premiers capteurs de pression optiques et le second réseau de détection comprend une pluralité de seconds capteurs de pression optiques.
