- 12 - Abstract The invention relates to an apparatus for separating a continuous sausage skein coming from a stuffing machine into indivdual sausages. In order to improve such an apparatus regarding the losses at the constrictions, it is provided that displacement elements which interlock during the separating process consist of a wire strap which is bent in the contour of a V-shaped plate.
