An apparatus for separating bodies from a flowing liquid in which the apparatus includes a rotary conveyor helix (3) which is disposed in a path. The path makes an angle with the horizontal plane and has a lower portion (10) which forms a screening device (40) and an upper portion where discharge takes place of bodies which have been displaced by means of the conveyor helix (3) from the screening device to the upper portion. At least one extra screening device (70) is disposed beside the screening device (40). The extra screening device (70) is designed for lateral transport to the screening device of bodies which have been entrapped by the extra screening device.

Cet appareil permettant d'extraire des corps (61) d'un liquide en écoulement (60a) comporte une hélice rotative de convoyeur (3) placée sur un trajet. Celui-ci, qui forme un angle avec le plan horizontal, possède une partie inférieure (10) constituant un dispositif de criblage (40) et une partie supérieure destinée au déchargement des corps transportés par l'hélice du convoyeur (3) du dispositif de criblage en direction de la partie supérieure. Il existe au moins un dispositif supplémentaire de criblage (70) en sus du dispositif de criblage (40) susmentionné. Ce dispositif supplémentaire de criblage (70) sert à transporter, sur un plan latéral, vers le premier dispositif de criblage des corps qu'il a retenus au passage.
