Apparatus for single-handed control of a microscope includes a first rotary controller (510), configured for manipulation by a hand of a user to adjust a position of a microscope stage. A second rotary controller (520), is configured and arranged relative to the first rotary controller for manipulation by an extended finger of the same hand to review, e.g., scroll through, previously identified portions of a biological specimen while the user's first hand may or may not remain in contact with the first rotary controller. The two controllers (510,520) are attached to the microscope stage- In this manner, the user may continue to review the previously identified specimen portions without having to look away from the microscope.
La présente invention concerne un appareil pour la commande à une main de fonctions de microscope comportant un premier contrôleur rotatif (510) configuré pour la manipulation par une main d'un utilisateur pour ajuster une position d'une platine de microscope. Un second contrôleur rotatif (520) est configuré et disposé par rapport au premier contrôleur rotatif pour une manipulation par un doigt déployé de la même main pour revoir, par exemple, faire défiler, des parties précédemment identifiées d'un échantillon biologique alors que la première main de l'utilisateur peut rester ou non en contact avec le premier contrôleur rotatif. Les deux contrôleurs (510, 520) sont fixés à l'étage de microscope. Ainsi, l'utilisateur peut continuer à revoir les parties d'échantillon précédemment identifiées sans avoir à détourner ses yeux du microscope.
