A B S T R A C T This sterilizing apparatus comports an enclosure in which two electrodes of an electrochemical cell are supplied by a transformer-rectifier for producing an aqueous NaOC1 solution from a NaC1 solution. During its production, the solution is distri- buted over the surfaces to be sterilized of the objects to be steri- lized by a circulation pump and a distribution manifold feeding canes and sprinkling heads by vertical distribu- tion pipes .
