The invention relates to an apparatus for stopping a parrot or a bird from screaming and the related methods. The apparatus transmits a vibration to a cage or any other structure on which a parrot or a bird is. The apparatus is either activated manually or automatically via detection of a predetermined level of decibels or via detection of a predetermined level of decibels happening during a predetermined period of time. The method is for stopping a parrot or a bird from screaming, and contains two steps. The first step is the detection of a predetermined level of decibels, and the second step is the transmission of a vibration to the support on which the parrot or bird is. Optionally, the detection of a predetermined level of decibels has to be made during a predetermined period of time.
