The present invention relates to an apparatus for supplying steam into a silo via holes provided in the bottom plate of the silo and via steam supply channels provided below the silo. The steam supply channels are provided with a feed connection through which the steam to be fed into the silo is passed into the steam supply channel. Furthermore, the steam supply channel is provided with steam feed nozzles placed under the holes in the bottom plate of the silo. The steam nozzles are preferably provided with a mounting flange which is fastened to the lower part of the steam supply channel; making it easy to remove the steam nozzles.
