An apparatus for supporting a ladder against a building structure, includes a body adapted to attach to a ladder. The body has a first rail pocket and a second rail pocket in spaced relation, and at least one rung pocket positioned transversely in relation to the first rail pocket and the second rail pocket. The first rail pocket is adapted to receive a first ladder rail. The second rail pocket is adapted to receive a second ladder rail. Each rung pocket is adapted to receive a ladder rung. Retainers are provided to retain the ladder within the pockets. A support is provided which is either directly or indirectly connected to the body. The support is adapted to support a ladder against a building structure.
