An apparatus for suspending objects from awnings includes an elongate body adapted to fit in and slide along a track on an awning having a slotted access opening without falling through the slotted access opening. At least one suspension member is provided having a first end, a second end, with means for engaging an object to be suspended at the second end. The first end of the at least one suspension member is fixedly secured to and depends from the body. The second end of the at least one suspension member is adapted to pass through the slotted access opening of the awning.
