- 1 - Apparatus for tending a stoma ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The subject matter of the invention is an apparatus for tending a stoma comprising a base plate made of a hypo- allergic material or of an adhesive film and a ring to which a bag for taking up the excreta is attached. The connection between the base plate and the ring is a flexible cylindrical or conical connecting piece of little height and a diameter which compared with the base plate is as large as possible. The ring is preferably an adhesive ring but may also be a snap ring.
