ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method and apparatus for the preparation of a manifold sheet having a relatively smooth, curl-free coating of a reactive composition on one side of a manifold sheet and a relatively smooth curl-free coating of rupturable encapsulated material on the opposite side of the manifold sheet, wherein the coatings are applied simultaneously to both sides of the manifold sheet in a single coating pass and without the application of pressure for smoothing either of the coatings.
