Apparatus for producing hollow bodies of thermoplastic material by extrusion blow molding has at least one extrusion head and at least first and second blow molding units which selectively co-operate therewith in the production process. The blow molding units are alternately movable between the position of co-operating with the extrusion head and a waiting position of not being involved in the production process. In the event of a change from one hollow body batch to another, for the production of which another blow molding mold is required, the blow molding unit in the waiting position is provided with the blow molding mold required for producing the new hollow body batch and the blow molding units are interchanged with each other.
Appareil pour fabriquer des corps creux en matériau thermoplastique par extrusion-soufflage. Cet appareil possède au moins une tête d'extrudeuse, et au moins une première et une seconde unités de moulage par soufflage qui collaborent de façon sélective durant le processus de production. Les unités de moulage par soufflage se déplacent en alternance entre une position de collaboration avec la tête d'extrudeuse et une position d'attente ou de non-participation au processus de production. Dans le cas de la production d'un lot différent de corps creux, pour laquelle un autre moule est nécessaire, l'unité de moulage par soufflage en position d'attente est fournie avec le moule requis pour produire le nouveau lot de corps creux, et les unités sont remplacées l'une par l'autre.
