An apparatus for the production of plastic compound pipes comprises a pipe head and half shells completing each other in pairs to form a mold. The pipe head comprises a supporting ring, which is joined to a connecting piece of an extruder by a first adjusting device. Hereby the width of an injection channel can be modified over its circumference. Between the supporting ring and an external nozzle jacket, a second adjusting device is provided, by which the width of an external channel is adjustable over its circumference.
