Along the rotary band (A1) production devices (11, 12-1, 13, 30; 11, 12-2, 13, 30; 14, 15; 16, 17, 30; 11, 12-3, 13, 30; 18, 18'; 27, 28, 28', 31; 19, 19', 19'') are arranged, in twos respectively along the linear outward path and return path, and in the opposite direction to the rotary band (A1) there is a driving band (A2) which can be pressed against this, and furthermore there is arranged a thermal compacting device (40) which has calender and/or embossing rollers (50, 50') following in the conveying direction and which consists of a heating cylinder (41) with a pressure band (A3) arranged on it.
