TITLE "Apparatus for the thermal pre-fixing of stockings outputting from a circular machine" ABSTRACT Apparatus for the thermal pre-fixing of stockings outputting from a circular machine, comprising a cylindrical treatment chamber (1) having vertical axis, with an inlet valve (2) and an outlet valve (3) and connected, on one side, to a hosiery circular machine through a conduit (5) and, on the other side, to a suction conduit (6) to transfer the stockings outputting from the circular machine, wherein said chamber (1) is provided with: - a blade valve (200) for the admission of air during the expulsion of the treated stockings; - a by-pass conduit (7) connected on one side to the chamber (1), and on the other side to the conduit (6), with the interposition of a valve (4); - an optical sensor (10) upstream of the treatment chamber (1) whose axis intercepts said conduit (5) to detect the arrival of a stocking and which activates the valves (2,3,4) by means of corresponding operative cylinders (120,130,140); - means (11) to heat the treatment air, with an insulated chamber (12) acting as heat-exchanger and communicating with the treatment chamber (1) through a plurality of holes (100) formed in the wall of said chamber (1); - a nozzle (9) for the admission of compressed air into the heat-exchanger (12) to feed the treatment air.
