The present invention refers to an apparatus (1) for the electrical treatment of food products (2), at least comprising a fluid container (3) having the capacity to receive a cleaning fluid (4), a direct current power unit (5), two electrodes (9a; 9b) and a fluid outlet (6), through which the outgoing cleaning fluid (4) can be directed directly on to the food product to be treated (2) and/or intermediately stored direkt in a buffer container. The invention is characterized in that the food product to be treated (2) is in direct electric contact with the cleaning fluid (4). The apparatus according to the invention allows achieving a continuous and efficient purification of food products, which is saving resources.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif (1) pour le traitement électrique de produits alimentaires (2), comprenant au moins un récipient à liquide (3) destiné à recevoir un liquide de lavage (4), une alimentation en courant continu (5), deux électrodes (9a,- 9b) et une sortie d'évacuation de liquide (6) par laquelle le liquide de rinçage (4) est conduit directement au produit alimentaire (2) à traiter et/ou peut être stocké temporairement dans un récipient intermédiaire. De préférence, on utilise un procédé faisant intervenir un diaphragme. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que le produit alimentaire (2) est en contact électrique directe avec le liquide de lavage (4). De préférence, ledit liquide de lavage (4) comprend de l'eau potable. Le dispositif selon l'invention permet de réaliser un lavage efficace, en continu, et économe en ressources. Les micro-organismes sont tués, voire inactivés.
