ABSTRACT An apparatus is disclosed which comprises a reversibly swingable and vertically movable arm member having a chucking head mounted at the distal end thereof for holding an apertured article by making use of the aperture, said chucking head being arranged to have the ability to rotate the article chucked by the chucking head at high speed, wherein apertured articles successively fed to a loading position are subjected to the reversible swinging movement and upward and downward movement of the arm member and to the rotation of the chucking head, whereby they are transferred to an unloading position via a working position where they are subjected to a desired treatment, the treated articles being released at the unloading position.
