An apparatus and method of transceiving a bitstream, by which avideo bitstream is stably transmitted by the effective use of two logic channels when communication is established by the two logic channels during transmission of the video bitstream in a communication network, is provided. In this method, a source is encoded into a bitstream using a predetermined type of coding. Then, the encoded bitstream is transmitted to each communication protocol layer, while the header of each communication protocol layer is added to a payload. The header is transmitted separately from the bitstream.

L'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé d'émission/réception d'un train binaire, permettant de transmettre de manière stable un train binaire vidéo grâce à une exploitation efficace de deux voies logiques, la communication étant établie deux voies logiques lors de la transmission du train binaire vidéo dans un réseau de communication. Dans ce procédé, une source est codée sous forme de train binaire au moyen d'un type de codage prédéterminé. Le train binaire codé est ensuite transmis dans chaque couche du protocole de communication, et l'en-tête de chaque couche de protocole de communication est ajouté à la charge transmise. Cet en-tête est transmis séparément du train binaire.
