ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus for transporting boards comprising: a first conveyor adapted to transport a large number of boards in an upright position; a tripping device adapted to pivot every several or tens of said boards transported by said first conveyor to the delivery end thereof to lay said boards with the front faces upward and the bottom edges forward, and to transfer them to the feed end of a second conveyor; said second conveyor adapted to transport said laid boards to a subsequent process; and an aligning device adapted to align the front edges of said laid boards being transported by said second conveyor. -1-
