An apparatus for sweeping, transporting and discharging debris includes a frame that carries a movable pan. The pan faces the rear of the apparatus and may be rotated with respect to the frame to discharge the debris over the front.This is achieved by raising the pan and then rotating it to the discharge position. A tractor is attached to the frame to drive the apparatus over the surface to beswept and to the discharge site.
