In an apparatus (10) for transporting packaged food products from a product loading station (A) to an unloading station (B), series of containers (20) are entrained by a drive arrangement (12) along a closed-loop path and temporarily halted at the loading station (A) and the unloading station (B) for loading the products onto the containers (20) and unloading the products from the containers (20), respectively; each container (20) has a hitch member arranged to rest on the drive arrangement (12) in a freely slidable manner therealong and, disposed in the closed-loop path, there is at least one accelerating device (25) applying a force to each container (20) effective to impose on the container (20) an acceleration with respect to the speed of the drive arrangement (12).
Installation (10) dans laquelle des produits alimentaires emballés sont acheminés d'un poste de chargement (A) à une poste de déchargement, et où une série de conteneurs (20) entraînés par un dispositif d'entraînement (12) sur un trajet en boucle fermée sont temporairement immobilisés à un poste de chargement (A) où les produits alimentaires sont chargés dans les conteneurs (20), et à un poste de déchargement (B) où les produits alimentaires sont déchargés des conteneurs (20); chaque conteneur (20) est pourvu d'un organe d'attelage conçu de manière à glisser librement sur le dispositif d'entraînement (12); intégré au trajet en boucle fermée, se trouve au moins un dispositif d'accélération (25) exerçant une force sur chaque conteneur (20) et destinée à imposer au conteneur (20) une accélération par rapport à la vitesse de déplacement du dispositif d'entraînement (12).
