In an apparatus for transporting thin boards, in particular coated printed circuit boards, comprising rows of spaced-apart grippers (2) which lie opposite one another and are arranged on a rod (3), in order to prevent the thin boards from sagging when transported, tension is applied to a rod (3), at least on one side of the printed circuit board (1), by an elastic device (15, 20), in order to tension the printed circuit board which has been gripped.

Selon cette invention, un appareil pour transporter des cartes minces, en particulier des cartes de circuits imprimés à revêtement, contient des rangées de préhenseurs espacés (2), qui sont opposées les unes aux autres et disposées sur une tige (3). Pour éviter le gauchissement des cartes minces lors du transport, on applique une tension à la tige (3), sur au moins un des côtés de la carte de circuit imprimé (1), au moyen d'un dispositif souple (15, 20), et ce pour tendre la carte de circuit imprimé accrochée par un préhenseur.
