ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus for treating an exhaust gas which has a dry type catalytic denitration apparatus on the upstream side of the exhaust gas and a plasma denitration appa- ratus on the downstream side of the dry type catalytic denitration apparatus. The apparatus of the present invention can solve problems which arise if the dry type catalytic denitration apparatus is singly used.
