Abstract of the Disclosure The present invention relates to correcting the alignment of the pattern of a tubular fabric, wherein a spreader frame is included between a pair of drive rollers and one of the drive rollers is driven at a constant speed while the other drive roller is adapted for increased or decreased speed relative to the constant driven roller, and control means are provided for increasing or decreasing the speed of the drive roller so as to increase or decrease the speed of the edge of the fabric adjacent the roller relative to the other edge. A pivoting frame with an elongated slot is also provided in the path of the tubular fabric, whereby the fabric passes through the slot and the frame having the slot can be pivoted such that the fabric can be corrected from spiraling which might occur relative to the longitudinal alignment of the stitches or seam in the fabric.
