INVENTORS: ALBERTO TURI, ALBINO CERVIA, THEO BARMETTLER & OTTO ZIMMERMANN INVENTION: APPARATUS FOR TRIMMING THE RUDDER OF AN AIRCRAFT ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In the case of propeller-aircraft with a single propeller there is present a helical or screw-shaped air flow which impinges one side of the rudder. There is thus required performing a rudder-trim. With the apparatus for the automatic trimming of the rudder this task is essentially facilitated for the pilot or he or she is relieved from performing the same. With the aid of an electronic control device and based upon flight velocity and propeller torque determined by sensors, a trim flap is automatically pivoted into the required position by a trim motor.
