ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A novel apparatus for uniformly dispersing paper raw material in a paper making machine, in which a dewatering limit member impermeable to water is provided for covering two wires traveling along a curved surface of a wire support and for providing an adjustable urging force against the support, and thereby a dewatering limit region is defined such that the interval between the support and the dewatering limit member is decreased and then increased in a wedge-like manner along the direction of the traveling wires.
