A cutting device (150) for being inserted between into a knee joint between the tibia (14) and the femur (6), wherein the cutting device (150) is adapted for resecting bone from the femur (6) to a desired depth in a path of travel of the tibia (14) when located in the knee joint and operated as the tibia (14) is moved through an arc of motion about the femur (6) between backward and forward positions. A cutting device is also disclosed for being inserted into a knee joint between the tibia and the femur for resecting bone from the tibia to a desired depth to form a recess in a condyle of the tibia for reception of a tibial implant, comprising a body being located between the tibia and the femur, a cutter for resecting the bone from the tibia to form the recess and a drive mechanism for driving the cutter to resect the bone and being arranged in the body, wherein the cutter is mounted on the body and protrudes therefrom for resecting the bone from the tibia.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif de découpage (150) destiné à être inséré dans un genou entre le tibia (14) et le fémur (6), le dispositif de découpage (150) étant conçu pour permettre la résection d'os du fémur (6) jusqu'à une profondeur désirée dans une voie de déplacement du tibia (14) lorsqu'il se trouve dans l'articulation du genou, ladite résection étant réalisée lorsque le tibia (14) est déplacé selon un mouvement circulaire autour du fémur (6) entre des positions arrière et avant. Cette invention concerne également un dispositif de découpage destiné à être inséré dans une articulation de genou entre le tibia et le fémur, permettant la résection d'os du tibia jusqu'à une profondeur désirée pour former un retrait dans un condyle du tibia destiné à recevoir un implant tibial, ledit dispositif comprenant un corps placé entre le tibia et le fémur, un élément de découpage destiné à la résection de l'os du tibia pour former le retrait, et un mécanisme d'entraînement servant à entraîner l'élément de découpage afin de permettre la résection, et se trouvant à l'intérieur du corps, l'élément de découpage étant monté sur le corps et dépassant de celui-ci afin de réaliser la résection de l'os du tibia.
