ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to an apparatus used for continuously electrostatically coating an object with pulverized synthetic resin, said apparatus comprising an electrostatic coating chamber where said pulverized synthetic resin is to be coated on the surface of said object maintained at a temperature below the melting point of said resin, which object has been conveyed into said chamber by means of a holding device, and a device for removing surplus pulverized resin from specific parts of said object by suction to electrostatically coat the desired part only, said device comprising suction slit openings positioned close to the specific parts of said object from which surplus pulverized resin is to be removed, said suction slit openings having squeegees made of an elastic material to facilitate the removal of surplus pulverized resin.
