APPARATUS FOR VULCANIZING HOSE ABSTRACT An apparatus adapted for continuously vul- canizing elastomeric hose comprises a tubular, helically extending vulcanizing chamber with an entrance for unvulcanized hose at one end and an exit for vulcanized hose at the other end. Means are provided to circulate fluid at elevated temperatures and pressures through the chamber thereby transporting the hose therethrough while simultaneously providing the heat and pressure required for satisfactory vulcanization. Special sealing means are provided to permit the flaccid hose structure continu- ous entry to the chamber while effectively preventing escape of pressurized fluid contained therein.
