ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The object of the invention is an apparatus for heating the oil content of engines, more particularly of com- bustion engines in vehicles, by means of a hydraulic pump, preferably driven by the said engine, which delivers the oil in the engine through a throttle or some other operating ele- ment, as a result of which the said oil is heated. As a result of this, on the one hand the engine reaches its operat- ing temperature sooner and, on the other hand, heat is made available to a heat exchanger in the engine and/or operating area.
