Device for watering a flower pot that, in a lower position, can be set in an outer pot that contains a supply of water, so as to be held at a distance from the bottom of said outer pot, and which, in an upper position, can be set in the area of the upper edge of the outer pot, a wick for supplying moisture being inserted in the flower pot, the other end of said wick being in the supply of water, the device having a first holding device for supporting the flower pot in a lower position, and a second holding device that can be set on the outer pot or set in the outer pot and held so as to be clamped in the area of the upper edge of the outer pot so that it holds the flower pot in the upper position.
