An apparatus, system and method for providing a photographic image of a target region within an intravascular environment. The apparatus has a plurality of different embodiments, each of which reduces the ambient "noise" detected along with the light reflected from the target region in order to increase the signal/noise ratio, thereby to enhance the quality of the image produced.
L'invention concerne un appareil, un système et un procédé permettant d'obtenir une image photographique d'une région cible située dans un environnement intravasculaire. Ladite invention comprend une pluralité de modes de réalisation différents, qui permettent tous de réduire le <= bruit >= ambiant détecté en même temps que la lumière réfléchie émanant de la région cible, de façon à augmenter le rapport signal/bruit et à améliorer ainsi la qualité de l'image produite.
