This disclosure relates to an affordable kat for reducing the level of radon in a dwelling. This inexpensive kit contains a newly designed rain-proof exhaust vent holding a common axial fan attached to a flex-duct. The kit can be installed by homeowners and handymen. The installer will simply make a hole in the band- board atop the foundation wall, insert the kit, and place the distal end of the attached flex duct into a sub-slab, block wall or crawl-space de-pressurization point. An existing sump pump or drain tile will leave as a de-pressurization point and make the kit even easier to install.
