THE KNOWN PROCEDURES FOR THE HOME MADE PREPARATION OF FERMENTED BEVERAGES SUCH AS BEER AND WINE, ARE BASED ON THE SEPARATION OF THE DRINKABLE LIQUID FROM THE SOLIDS PRODUCT OF THE PRECIPITATION OF SOME OF THE INGREDIENTS . THIS SEPARATION IS ACHIEVED BY SIPHONING THE BREWING MIX FROM ONE CONTAINER TO ANOTHER. THE KNOWN METHODS REQUIRE TO PERFORM THE SEPARATION PROCESS AT LEAST TWO TIMES THROUGHOUT THE BREWING TIME, FOR IT IS FUNDAMENTAL TO REDUCE THE CONTACT OF DECOMPOSED SEDIMENTS WITH THE MIX IN ORDER TO AVOID THE SPOILAGE OF THE BATCH. THE PRESENT INVENTION SIGNIFICANTLY EASES THE PROCESS OF HOME BREWING BY SIMPLIFYING THE REMOVAL OF UNDESIRABLE SOLIDS, MINIMIZING THE RISKS OF EXTERNAL CONTAMINATION AND REDUCING HOURS OF LABOUR WITHOUT MODIFYING THE RESULT OF THE BIOCHEMICAL REACTIONS INHERENT TO FERMENTED BEVERAGES. THIS INVENTION CONSISTS OF A SINGLE FERMENTING CHAMBER, A LID; A VALVE ATTACHED TO THE BOTTOM OF THE FERMENTING CHAMBER, A REMOVABLE COLLECTING PIPE AND A POURING HOSE. AFTER THE INGREDIENTS ARE PLACED IN THE FERMENTING CHAMBER, THE CHAMBER IS THEN COVERED WITH A HERMETICAL LID. THE VALVE IS LEFT OPEN AS THE SEDIMENTS SETTLE IN THE COLLECTING PIPE. AT THE DISCRETION OF THE BREWER THE VALVE MAY BE OPENED OR CLOSED AT ANY TIME THROUGHOUT THE BREWING PROCESS, ENABLING THE SAFE DETACHMENT OF THE COLLECTING PIPE AND THE DISPOSAL OF THE SEDIMENTS ACCUMULATED INSIDE OF IT. THE DISPOSAL PROCEDURE MAY BE REPEATED AS MANY TIMES AS NECESSARY, UNTIL THE MIX IS READY FOR BOTTLING.
