ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE ??ject locating apparatus which can be used for the location of various objects. The apparatus includes a laser device capable of projecting a laser beam which serves as a mark of a predetermined position of an object to be located, a mechanism for holding and moving the laser device. The mechanism is driven so as to move the laser device, and means for numerically controlling the drive means are provided to stop the laser device at predetermined position.
