ABSTRACT The appliance is intended simultaneously to dry the hair and to affect the scalp positively by stimulating production of an improved supply of blood, thus promoting the growth of hair. It may also be used for sterilizing the air in rooms. The said appliance consists, according to the invention, of a combination of hair-drier and ultra-violet radiator, both the hair-drier and the ultra-violet radiator being adapted to be metered and adjusted.
