The present invention relates to preventing or delaying programmed cell death by expressing one or more anti-apoptotic polypeptides in a cell expressing recombinant Factor VIII such that programmed cell death in the cell is prevented or delayed. The present invention also relates to increasing production of recombinant Factor VIII by expressing one or more anti-apoptotic polypeptides in a cell such that production of recombinant Factor VIII by the cell is increased. Recombinant cells useful for producing Factor VIII.
L'invention permet de prévenir ou de retarder la mort cellulaire programmée en provoquant l'expression d'au moins un polypeptide antiapoptotique dans une cellule exprimant le facteur VIII recombinant, expression qui prévient ou retarde la mort cellulaire programmée de la cellule. L'invention permet également d'obtenir une production augmentée de facteur VIII recombinant en provoquant l'expression d'au moins un polypeptide antiapoptotique dans une cellule, expression qui augmente la production du facteur VIII recombinant par la cellule. L'invention porte enfin sur des cellules recombinantes utilisées dans la production du facteur VIII.
