An applicator for applying aerosol shaving foam or gel which comprises a base to be gripped by a user and a foam spreader made of closed cell EVA Foam mounted on the base. The body of the spreader has wide openings towards the middle and upper region of the face, and is built wider at the upper end with an arced top. In a preferred embodiment, the spreader body comprises of a flexible inner body made of Cork-Rubber enclosed by an outer leather casing. The body contains wide openings towards the middle and upper region of the face, and is built wider at the upper end with an arced top. The leather casing enclosing the inner Cork-Rubber body is trimmed along the sides of the spreader and the edges of the openings. The entire body mounted on a base.
