An applicator for semi-solid medications comprises a tubular body (20) having a rounded dispensing end (21) provided with at least one opening (26) and a grasping end (22), the inner surface of a proximal portion of said tubular body defining a reservoir for the medication, a plunger (30), initially housed inside the tubular body, which plunger is provided with a rod (31) and grasping means (33), a piston (40), positioned in sealing contact with the inner surface of said tubular body providing a closure for the medication reservoir, wherein said piston has a longitudinal hole (45) through which rod (31) of the plunger is disposed, and wherein said piston initially abuts on a stop means (25) when the applicator is received by the user, a coupling means (35, 46) between rod (31) and piston (40), a closure means for sealingly closing off said opening (26) on said dispensing end, wherein the plunger (30) is extractable from the tubular body until the rod (31) becomes engaged with the piston (40) by the coupling means, where upon the plunger together with the piston is displaceable along the tubular body towards the dispensing end (21) for expelling the medication through opening (26), and wherein the stops means (25) is provided in the form of a projection on the inner surface of the tubular body.
Cet applicateur destiné à des médicaments semi-solides comprend uncorps tubulaire (20) comportant une extrémité (21) distributrice arrondie et dotée d'au moins une ouverture (26) et d'une extrémité (22) de préhension, la surface interne d'une partie distale dudit corps tubulaire définissant un réservoir pour le médicament; un poussoir (30) initialement logé dans le corps tubulaire, doté d'une tige (31) et d'un dispositif (33) de préhension; un piston (40) placé en contact d'étanchéité avec la surface interne du corps tubulaire pour fermer le réservoir de médicament, ledit piston comportant un orifice longitudinal (45) à travers lequel passe la tige (31) du poussoir, et venant buter au départ contre un arrêt (25) lorsque l'applicateur est reçu par l'utilisateur; un dispositif de couplage (35, 46) situé entre la tige (31) et le piston (40); une fermeture pour fermer hermétiquement l'ouverture (26) prévue sur l'extrémité distributrice. Le poussoir (30) peut être sorti du corps tubulaire jusqu'à ce que la tige (31) soit reliée avec le piston (40) par le dispositif de couplage, le poussoir et le piston pouvant alors être déplacés le long du corps tubulaire vers l'extrémité distributrice (21) pour faire sortir le médicament par l'ouverture (26); l'arrêt (25) étant prévu sous forme d'une partie saillante située sur la surface interne du corps tubulaire.
