An aquarium safety heater includes an adjusting screw rotatably held in a packing plug sealably secured in an upper portion of a glass tube having a heating coil, a thermostat and a thermal type circuit breaker of an electric controller mounted within the glass tube, with-the adjusting screw being operatively adjustable for adjusting a contacting tightness between the thermal type circuit breaker and a circuit of the electric controller for adjusting a reliable operating precision and sensitivity of the circuit breaker for ensuring a reliable operation for safely switching off a power supply to the heating coil once the thermostat is out of order, thereby preventing killing of fishes raised in the aquarium.
