ABSTRACT An aqueous aerosol coating composition consists of (a) an ammonium or amine salt of a drying oil-modified copolymer of butyl acrylate and isobutyl methacrylate having an average molecular weight of not more than about 9,000; (b) a water soluble organic solvent; (c) water and (d) dimethyl ether. The coating composition is non-flammable and has good storage stability.
